Christmas is fast approaching! Is your shopping done? Are all the gifts wrapped, decorations up, cookies baked?
For many women, this time of year feels like a festive triathlon: dashing through the mall, juggling wrapping paper rolls, and dodging the last-minute gift crowds. Ask a woman if she’s ready, and she’ll probably say, “Almost done!” (while mentally calculating if she has time to bake one more batch of cookies and find stocking stuffers for the dog).
Ask a man, though, and you’re likely to get a slightly panicked look: “Wait… when’s Christmas again?”
Men, you see, don’t sweat the details. Christmas shopping? That’s a December 24th activity! Why plan ahead when you can hit the corner store for last-minute gifts? It’s amazing how creative they can get with gas station finds at 11:58 p.m.!
In the following video story from my book, We May Not Be Crazy, But Sometimes I Wonder, you’ll see exactly what I mean about the shopping habits of the sexes. Enjoy!
So, ladies, when your partner inevitably asks you to buy his parents’ gifts this year, why not suggest something thoughtful—and effortless for you? Tell him to get my book!
Not only will both men and women relate to the stories inside, but they’ll also share a few smiles and maybe even a good belly laugh. After all, nothing brings families together like laughing at each other’s quirks!
And here’s the best part: He can order it straight from Amazon. No crowds, no lines, and no frantic Christmas Eve shopping at the gas station. It’s a win-win!
